Looking at the boxy, somewhat awkwardly constructed buildings, it was rather difficult for me to imagine their walls have something to do with contemporary art. But once I got inside, the premature notion the exterior of this building had cast on me, disappeared instantly. It was warm, illuminated enough, tidy, quiet. Just a few people in a spacious room. Technical gimmicks all around! Every second there’s a work – without any wastes! At the right wing of the building, a security man walks past some small and compact objects in a relaxed manner. It’s his job. No hurry.
Now, let’s get back to the office of the director of the future. Thanks to X-ray research, scientists have succeeded in determining its spatial structure, a double spiral. The ancient walls don’t have a perfect harmony with progressive technology. Of course, it’s not just about aesthetic harmony. The process proceeded very slowly. That’s why the local inhabitants abandoned them and moved to the plains. But in summer, thick grass grows there, stockbreeders move together with their families, hearths are lit again in places previously forsaken. A new, modern life emerges in the old walls, along with its comfortable roadways, electricity, steady connection with the rest of the world. So, the displaced return.

It’s ten o’clock in the morning. Those present in the hall are greeting with applause. We welcome our best representatives from the very bottom of our heart. Everyone’s getting up!
